You will need to short the two pads above the 34pin of the connector. In fact, all PSP1000 motherboards have these two pads, but these two pads are not connected. Connect directly with solder or connect with 'conductive sliver paint'. (You can use conductive sliver paint to connect the two pads if you don't have welding skills). The positions of the two pads are different in different versions of the PSP 1000 motherboard. Please see product photos for install photos.
