The difference compared to simple push ups is that you train in a raised position: The upper body has to be lowered more which intensifies the exercise. And as opposed to conventional push up grips, the ball bearing grips allow you to turn your arms in a controlled position while exercising: To the outside while lowering the body, to the inside when pushing up. The effect: Clearly more muscles are exercised and strengthened, wrists and elbow joints experience less stress and strain. Made of plastic. Base and grips with non-slip rubber base.
