Description
Double bill of children's animated spin-offs of 'Shrek' (2001). 'Puss in Boots' (2011) traces the backstory of swashbuckling feline Puss in Boots (voice of Antonio Banderas), detailing the adventures he had before he met Shrek and Donkey. A notorious outlaw in his hometown of San Ricardo, Puss will be put behind bars indefinitely unless he can find the magic beans which are fiercely guarded by husband-and-wife bandits Jack and Jill (Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris).
Unbeknownst to Puss, however, he has another rival in the form of criminal mastermind Humpty Alexander Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and his tough-talking sidekick, Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek). In 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish' (2022) legendary adventurer Puss in Boots is shocked to discover he has used eight of his nine lives. Hunted by the Big Bad Wolf (Wagner Moura), Jack Horner (John Mulaney) and Goldilocks (Florence Pugh) and the Three Bears, Puss in Boots teams up with his former lover Kitty Softpaws and stray dog Perrito (Harvey Guillén) and sets off on a quest to find the magical Wishing Star.
