Pylontech Battery Monitoring Cable for US2000, US3000a/b, US3000c, UP2500, UP5000 | Pylontech Console Cable
This cable is used to monitor your Pylontech Lithium batteries as below via any battery viewing application up to a total of 9 batteries in parallel. From the product drop down you can choose the cable for your Pylontech model to be either USB to RJ11 or USB to RJ45. Please check if your Pylontech battery has a RJ11 or RJ45 Console port and choose the correct cable for your installation.
Specifications:
- Uses FTDI FT232 Chipset for USB to RS232 depending on stock we have. If a specific chipset needed please specify it on order or call us before ordering. Uses a custom made cable from RS232 to RJ11 or RJ45 depending on battery config required.
- Supports baud rates up to 1.2M bps.
This cable has a modular design and designed by us with the reasons below in mind:
- Flexibility : The Cable length, if your application changes, can be extended easily by using a RJ45 Network coupler and standard ethernet network cable. The wiring on the DB9 to RJ45 Converter can be changed if you have technical knowledge to adapt to any inverter or battery for firmware updates / monitoring. We can also adapt wiring ON REQUEST for any inverter/solar batteries if a wiring diagram is supplied.
- Maintainability : If one part of the cable fails or damaged only the specific part of the cable needs to be replaced and not the total cost of the cable.
- Reusability : The modular parts can be re-used on other applications such as USB to DB9 Serial Communication or other USB to Network Configurations if pin layout customized.

This cable has been tested and working with http://www.multisibcontrol.net/ software from a Windows PC USB Port to Pylontech Batteries Console Port. It will provide the views below for batteries:
Please note this Cable plugs into your monitoring PC / Raspberry PI USB Port and then to the CONSOLE port of the Pylontech Battery. Other ports such as CAN Bus / RS485 will not work.
