The Qolsys IQ4 NS PowerG Smart Security Control Panel is a screen-free alarm and home automation hub designed for residential properties, multi-dwelling developments and small businesses. It combines encrypted 868MHz PowerG wireless security, Z-Wave 800 home automation, Wi-Fi, LTE cellular communication and Bluetooth in one compact controller. Instead of a built-in touchscreen, system setup and control can be handled through compatible apps and optional keypads, allowing the panel itself to be mounted discreetly.

- Supports up to 128 PowerG devices. Build a substantial wireless security system using long-range, encrypted 868MHz PowerG sensors and peripherals.
- Built for divided properties and larger systems. Support for up to four partitions and 242 role-based user codes makes the panel suitable for homes, offices and properties where different areas or users require separate access.
- Wi-Fi and LTE communication. Dual-path capability allows compatible monitoring services to use cellular and Wi-Fi communications together, helping maintain connectivity if one path becomes unavailable.
- Z-Wave 800 home automation. Integrate compatible smart lights, locks, thermostats, garage door controls and other automation devices with the same security platform.
- More than basic alarm control. Bluetooth Low Energy supports compatible proximity functions, while an optional Zigbee expansion card can add support for up to 64 Zigbee devices.
- Built-in audible warning and status feedback. An integrated 85dB siren, front speaker and colour status indicators provide local alarm and system-condition feedback without requiring a touchscreen.
- Continues operating during mains failures. The pre-installed 3000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion backup battery is rated for more than 24 hours of standby under the specified operating conditions.
- Tamper monitoring built in. Panel and wall tamper protection helps the system report attempts to remove or interfere with the control unit.

- The IQ4 NS has no built-in touchscreen by design. Installer programming is performed locally through the IQ Installer Interface app, while everyday operation can use compatible keypads, keyfobs and supported remote services.
- The panel runs on an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon platform with 16GB of internal flash storage, providing the processing platform for security, communications and automation functions.
- You can expand beyond PowerG and Z-Wave. An optional Zigbee card can support up to 64 additional compatible devices, giving installers another option when building a mixed smart-home system.
Compatibility & App Support
The IQ4 NS integrates with Alarm.com for compatible remote security and smart-home services, subject to system configuration and activation through the relevant service provider. Installers use the IQ Installer Interface app on compatible iOS or Android devices for local setup and programming over Wi-Fi.
The panel supports 868MHz PowerG, Z-Wave Plus 800 Series, dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, LTE cellular connectivity and Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2. Compatible IQ Remote and PowerG keypad/keyfob options can be added where physical user controls are preferred. The optional SmartMount table stand and Zigbee expansion card are sold separately.
