An interesting QSA / KSA / WW1 medal group to Sgt George Musson. He serves in the Royal Warwick Regiment as well as Coldstream Guards. All medals are correctly and officially impressed, named to him and the group is court mounted for display. His service number on the QSA is 547 and all clasps are confirmed on the various rolls (included). He has serious disipline issues as per his records. George is recruited in WW1 into the 9th Bn Warwickshire regiment and first serves in the Balkans as Sergeant (No: 2048). He then transits to Iraq, where he is killed in action on the 19th December 1916 in Basra. He is commemorated on the Basra Memorial. It is this same Basra Memorial that was removed by British Forces during the war in Iraq. See photograph below.
