Quad L-ite 5.1 speaker set

Quad speakers are well known in professional audiophile circles, perhaps best for their ground-breaking implementations of electrostatic speakers which, to most audiophiles, reproduce the truest sound possible in a speaker.  The Quad L-ite home theatre speakers are Quad's first interpretation of a complete and balanced 5.1 system, and their entry point into the world of professional speakers. 

Finished in high quality 7 layer lacquered piano black finish, these speakers create a discrete and elegant addition to the furniture in your home while providing surprising professional quality of sound.  Due to their compact size, they can be easily mounted to the wall, or used on a bookshelf.  Perfectly suited to amplifiers delivering 30 to 120 Watts, these speakers will easily fill a room of 4m x 5m (20 sqm) and still be very comfortable in rooms of around 8m x 5m (40sqm) due to the excellent down-firing sub-woofer.  Prior to moving to my new house, I had them in a 5.5m x 6.5m room and they performed admirably.

The sub-woofer is remote controlled, allowing easy manipulation of the cross-over filter for fine-tuning music and cinema sound from your seat.  The satellites additionally offer big speaker sound, with particularly well managed mid-range for clear crisp voices.

The speakers are in immaculate condition and come in original speaker bags with a cleaning glove.  They have never been stressed in use and always played with consieration for their longevity.

The sub-woofer alone is worth the price of the whole set.
