Quartz Leaning towers

A Drakensberg range special, Two angled quartz "pillars" consisting of slightly milky to white terminations, stands neatly by itslef, originating from what was the lava flows that covered the Drakensberg and upper Kwa-Zulu Natal landscape. Formed due to the pockets and air bubbles that were created between the layer of sand stone and what was then cooling down lava, with a variety of minerals causing amethyst, smokey quartz, citrine, and many other quartz and agate varieties of all shapes, colors and sizes to be formed.
