A vintage painted cast metal model of the future Queen Elizabeth II riding the horse "Winston" as stand-in to her father, His Majesty King George VI, during the ceremonial Trooping The Colour in 1951.

There are no maker's marks. Stands approx 85mm high. No cracks, perishing or breaks. Some wear to paint.

HRH THE COLONEL - HRH Princess Elizabeth, wearing her uniform of colonel in chief of the grenadier guards, rides her horse "Winston" through the gates of Buckingham Palace after taking the salute at the ceremony of Trooping The Colour on the Horse Guards parade this morning, June 07, 1951.
