Queen Victoria and Prince Albert Dolls

These Peggy Nisbet Costume Dolls are representations of Queen Victoria and her beloved Prince Albert. Queen Victoria was queen of Great Britain and Ireland. She was also the first Empress of India. She married her cousin Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. She was the last of the Hanoverian rulers. Prince Albert is credited for a great many of the innovations, social housing and the likes, that occurred during her reign. He predeceased her by some forty years. To date, Queen Victoria is still the longest reigning British sovereign, though the present queen is catching up rapidly. Queen Victoria has her swing tag attached to her wrist, Prince Albert’s is missing.
