For the 1st time in South African history was SA Reserve banknotes as illegal tenders declare, Stals 2nd Issue & Mboweni 1st Issue. Someone managed to make perfect copies and The Reserve Bank destroyed all the notes they could get there hands on. Mboweni's 2nd Issue had higher security standards.

......Stals 2nd Issue & Mboweni 1st Issue are extremely rare !!!! > if you have one, you still don't know if it is a copy or the real thing.
