P X IS THE CHRISTIAN SYMBOL FOR CHRIST IN SHORTHAND, THE FIRST TWO LETTERS IN THE GREEK SPELLING OF THE WORD CHRIST, C GREEK : XPIORO'C . THESE SYMBOLS ARE ATTATCHED TO AN OLD HOLY OIL LAMP, SIZE HEIGHT 9.2CM, WIDTH 7.5CM. I AM NOT SURE WHETHER THE LAMP IS MADE OF CAST IRON OR BRASS PAINTED GREEN. THEN THERE IS A SMALL CONTAINER ON LEGS WITH THE TOP HALF MISSING, THERE ARE MARKS IN THE CONTAINER WHICH SUGGEST SOMETHING WAS BURNT IN IT. POSSIBLY ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A HOLY OIL LAMP. HEIGHT 6CM, DIA 5CM.
