From: Mr. van der Reis
Hi Martin,
It is indeed one of my works. I did a series of crayon drawings of the landscape round Graaf Reinet. They were free interpretations of the landscape. We travelled frequently from Pretoria to Plettenberg Bay and I was very interested in the landscape South of Graaf Reinet. There were about five works in the series, three drawings and two lardish paintings - all in various collections. I am very grateful to see the drawing as I was very lax in keeping records at the time and am now working on documentation so your email is a wonderful surprise.
Best regards
Gunther
