Unusual String Instrument

On offer this very unusual wooden string musical instrument. It has a hinged lid that opens and closes perfectly. The shape is irregular, the top of the box is 37cm wide on one end, 34 cm wide on the other end, 27cm long and 11cm high. The inside of the lid felt line and a framed lacquered picture for added beauty, the body of the box (below the strings) also with a picture of flowers that has been lacquered over. In good condition apart from the one end string (closest to the lid) missing, but could be replaced.
