This is the download, sent to you on a CD, for any DS flashcard. Please note that these downloads are actually free on the internet, but I am doing this because so many people seem to have problems downloading these files. Please specify which flashcard download you need under buyer's notes.
You are also welcome to send me your micro sd card to install the download directly. There is an option at the post office called "Fastmail", which is for letters, delivered within 2 days. The card will easily fit into the required postage dimensions & this is a much quicker way of sending it. You are responsible for these costs though (I think it's less than R10). Once I receive the card (please note, there is no tracking number with Fastmail), I will install the update directly onto your card & test it on the flashcard you have purchased, & send both to you. This will mean that you may have to wait a few days longer before receiving everything, but you will have peace of mind knowing that your card is fully functional. If there is a problem with your sd card, I will notify you immediately.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ARE BUYING THE CORRECT CARD FOR YOUR CONSOLE & CURRENT UPDATES ON YOUR CONSOLE. NO REFUNDS / EXCHANGES WILL BE GIVEN FOR INCORRECT PURCHASES! Please note that I cannot test cards for compatability with the 1.4.2 firmware or for the 3D console.
If you do not purchase this with your card, & cannot get it to work, & email me, I will refer you back to this item as this is the only help I can offer. You will then have to send me your sd card with the flashcard to test your download & replace with the downloads I have that I know work properly. Please do not use any other firmware except the web address on the flashcard box as it may not be compatible with your flashcard. Return postage to you of your sd card & flashcard is at your expense if you do not purchase this with the flashcard.
Most flashcards that are compatable with 1.4.1 will be compatable with the new 1.4.2 upgrade :

| 1. | You can not upgrade R4i V1.4.1 with NDSi V1.4.2. If your NDSi console has already been upgraded to NDSi V1.4.2, you will need another NDSL or NDSi (which should be under version V1.4.2) to upgrade your R4i V1.4.1 flash card. |

| 3. | First, reformatting the SD, download the latest kernel. |
| 4. | Unzip and copy the files to the root of MicroSD card. |
| 5. | Download the latest upgrading programs. Unzip and copy the file to the root of MicroSD card. |
| 6. | Insert MicroSD card into the flashcard, insert flashcard into nds\dsl\dsi\dsixl\3DS |
| 7. | Turn on console and press "A" button to run the upgrade file. Note:When upgrading the flashcard, do not switch off console or pull out flashcard,otherwise it will damage the card. |
As upgrading the card to run with the 1.4.2 firmware changes the card internally, there are no guarantees or refunds if you choose to do this as my supplier will not accept it back.
