Edited and Introduced by Jeremy Lawrence

In 1947 Jean Lawrences husband, Harry, was Minister of Justice in the Smuts government. The diaries cover the British royal tour (February-April), and the Lawrences subsequent visit to Canberra, Australia, for a Commonwealth Conference, and to New York, where Harry led the South African delegation at the United Nations.

Soft-cover, 120 pages, illustrated, edition limited to 200 numbered copies.
