Published by Robert Bentley, 1967, hardcover, illustrated, 148 pages, 15.5 cms x 23 cms, edgeware & tears to dustjackey otherwise condition: very good.

The aim of this book is to provide information on the more advanced types of chassis and suspension in a form which will be understood by the large majority of motoring enthusiasts.

The first word in chassis design comes from Michael Costin and David Phipps as they take a birds eye view at what made some of the historic racing car chassis designs great. From the Mercedes 300 SL to the Lotus 25 the authors key objectives of a race car chassis and how championship winning designs were successful. This was the first book I ever read on the subject of racing cars and it is still one I go back to today. Id recommend it to any one who wants to learn the basics of race car chassiss and how to approach the car system as a whole.
