Made in Malaysia and packed in the USA by Radio Shack.

Part is still sealed in its original packaging which is well aged. The specs on the back of the 

packet are no longer clearly legible but here is the details.

The XC-880-A is a Gallium Aluminum Arsenide superhigh output infrared emitting diode in a T 1 & 3/4 package.

It produces non-coherent, IR energy at 880 nano-meters. It offers significantly improved performance over conventional IR LEDs.
