Radish Crimson Giant

The Crimson Giant Radish plant produces good yields of giant radishes. They are very flavourful. A good all round variety. These are suitable for spring or autumn harvest. It forms large, crisp, globe-shaped radishes 4cm across with crimson skin and mild white flesh. It attains a large size without becoming pithy. This is a cold weather crop and will mature in just 28 days. Make successive plantings every 2 weeks until late spring, then again a month before frost. Radishes are suggested as an alternative treatment for a variety of ailments including whooping cough, cancer, coughs, gastric discomfort, liver problems, constipation, dyspepsia, gallbladder problems, arthritis, gallstones, kidney stones and intestinal parasites.
