SAAF tunic to Maj. Tidy ATFHQ Manufactured by Durban Clothing size RR102 (Medium) 1975. Doug Tidy served with the RAF as squadron leader during World War II. He was also in the SAAF for ten years, where he wore his medal ribbons and RAF Signaler half wing with his South African insignia. A most unusual combination, also interesting that there is no Africa Service Medal amongst his group.
