Rainbow Aura spirit quartz is the result of titanium infused with clear quartz crystals to produce the gorgeous vibrant colour you see. It is coated through a process known as a vapor deposition. In this process clear quartz crystals are placed in a vacuum chamber and a combination of pure titanium and other trace metals are vaporized at high temperatures.
The vaporized metal bonds to the surface of the quartz crystals creating a thin permanent layer of metalic iridescence. The quartz coating in this specimen is spirit quartz from mpumalanga south Africa.the crystal displays arange of rainbow colours with a light and airy finish that brings radiance to any space.
