Rainbow Soldiers
A fictionalised account of the Falklands War between Great Britain and Argentina after Argentina invaded the islands, remote British colonies in the South Atlantic, on 2 April 1982. The author writes poignantly about the lives and emotions of the soldiers (officers, NCOs, and enlisted) and their families on both sides of the war, which lasted ten weeks. A total of 649 Argentine military personnel, 255 British military and 3 Falkland Islanders were killed during the hostilities.
