The teardrop is made with clear, inclusion-free crystal glass, faceted and prepared to produce the most beautiful rainbows. The images do not bring it to justice as the white background is very close to the suncatcher for the photo's clarity. It has been strung on a metal-reinforced, flexible, polymer-coated wire. This protects the metal against rusting and strengthens the wire as the crystal part is heavy.
No other beads or decorations are strung on the wire, allowing the design to work in any colour decor.
