failure to adhere to his constitutional obligations, Ramaphosa remained
strangely silent, staying at Zuma's side.
When he finally began to speak out against the capture of the state
by Zuma's cronies, some said he had left it too late. His growing band of
supporters within the ruling party said he was executing a canny
strategy to seize power as an insider.
