First edition printed by Argus Printing Works in 1915 and published by the artist.

Only 500 copies were published.

Foreword by H. J. Hofmeyr.

"D.C. Boonzaier is probably one of South Africa's most famous cartoonists/caricaturists and one whose satire was most influential on the political scene during the first quarter of the 20th century." - M. & E. Schoonraad: Companion to South African Cartoonists.

"As a cartoonist Boonzaier's fame is founded on his 'My Caricatures' and 'Rand Faces' and on the political cartoons he did for Die Burger." - DSAB I, p. 95.

Boonzaier's caricatures were greatly influenced by Japanese minimalism. He was the father of the famous Cape impressionist Gregoire Boonzaier.
