The Range Rover has endured in production for a quarter of a century, and conquered the US market when its basic design was already 17 years old. This book traces the story of this successful car, from the first design studies to the time when its eventual replacement appeared, and beyond. Containing information about the individualized custom-built models, it examines the Range Rover as a competition machine, discussing its dual roles as on-road limousine and off-road mud-plugger, providing guidelines for efficient driving.
