I remember a conversation I had with the late Arrie Meyer, former Springbok Aerobatics champion regarding his Russian Sukhoi SU-26 Aerobatics plane. He flew to Russia to buy this plane. To his surprise, the "factory" was situated in an open field, consisting of corrugated iron buildings with leaking roofs.

I asked: "Ok Arrie, why a Russian plane?" And his answer was short and to the point: "Their planes do not break!"
