An EXCELLENT example of a 1821 Caroline, Queen Consort of George IV Brass Funerary Medallion. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state of preservation , with detailed raised Relief on  obverse & reverse. All insignia/ nomenclature present and legible. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Toning may be evident. Planchet is complete with reeded edge. 

This Medallion was issued to observe the passing of , Caroline Queen Consort ( Caroline of Brunswick) - and wife of King George IV. Caroline was a German Princess who had married the King, when he was acting as Prince Regent.
