Rare 1925 Prince Edward Cape Town Visit Medallion.
In 1925, , visited Cape Town as part of a larger tour of Southern Africa. The tour took place between April 30th and July 29th, and included stops in Cape Province, the Orange Free State, Basutoland, Natal, Transvaal, Swaziland, Southern & Northern Rhodesia, and the Bechuanaland Protectorate. A Royal train, provided by South African Railways, was used for the journey.
