Collectible, 1930s Art Deco Marigold pattern Princess shape by Alfred Meakin
Cream background with fine orange, silver and black stripes with silver angular details.

A beautiful piece of Art Deco Serve Ware in the form of a lidded serving dish from Alfred Meakin. This "Marigold Princess Shape" lidded serving dish features a geometric design in silver gilt, grey and orange on cream, very popular of the art deco period.

Made between 1937 and 1940

Dimensions:

  • Lidded Serving Dish: 28 x 28 x 14cm

Condition: Great.Very minimal wear,has no sign that it has ever been used.Very fine age grazing.
