An EXCELLENT example of RARE , 1950s Portuguese Colonial ' Lourenco Marques' Cast Pewter Ashtray Pair. This set appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Graphic Relief on  obverse. All insignia present on central Escutcheon remains legible . Appropriate Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Some degree of Wear will be evident from usage. 

This unique set of post- modern Ashtrays, reflects the Portuguese Colonial design associated with the renown Port City of Lourenco Marques ( Maputo) in Mozambique. Each piece is characterized by a undulating floral wreath , enclosing a central Escutcheon displaying the Coat-of-Arms of the East African City. 

The ideal addition to any Portuguese Colonial Ashtray collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
