An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1960s British Army - Junior Parachute Regiment Leaders' Coy Qualification Badge. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state of preservation , with detailed embroidered Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Appropriate Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Felt material is intact w/ rear reinforcement panel. 

This insignia was issued from 1961 - 1993 , being worn exclusively by members of the Junior Leaders' Coy of the Parachute Regiment. The program for qualification was open to Servicemen from the age of 16 onwards, being discontinued in the early 1990s ( forces rationalization and reform). 

The ideal addition to any Post-World War II Era British Army/ Parachute Regt. Insignia collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
