Rare 1967 Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) Black 'scratch' Large Vase
It is beautifully hand painted with cherry blossoms and bears the De Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) mark, factory batch number (722), artists signature (GMu) and year code (CL = 1967).
Black Delft is a style of Delftware that was produced between 1978 and 2009 by De Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft). It is inspired by the famed (and very rare) antique black Delftware that was created from the end of the 17th century to the beginning of the 18th century in Delft. Black Delftware in turn was an imitation of the famed Chinese 'famille noir' porcelain and lacquered ware of the times
It stands 30 cm tall and is in overall good - very good vintage condition. Paint in lovely undamaged condition. No cracks. Note: 1 small chip on rim (see last photograph)
