An EXCELLENT example of a RARE , 1969 Interpol Deluxe 21-Jewel Anti-Magnetic Diver's Watch w/ original strap. This piece appears to be in a VF state , with detailed Relief on watch obverse. All luminous green Baton indices are present. Arabic numerals are clear and defined in the 6-9-12 format. The Date-window is set at the 3 ' o clock position. Bezel will display a small degree of edge and surface wear- allowing for adjustable seconds. Appropriate evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. NOTE: Original Rubber strap is complete - however- a small period repair has taken place on the marginal section ( Does not affect structural integrity).
This piece features - as one of the many variants of Diving Watch produced by Oberon Watch Co. under the Interpol Brand during the late 1960s. The Timepiece has remained largely uniform in design over the years - with a small degree of design alteration appearing in the early 1970s.
The Watch is currently UNTESTED - and will require the services of a qualified technician in order to accurately assess state of mechanical systems. It is advised that the Timepiece be taken for a service.
