The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Badge Graphic Design Relief is present and ddetailed.Insignia / Badge remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Appropriate Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Surface Toning may be noted due to age-related wear.  Retention Lugs have been removed - NO LONGER PRESENT. Piece is ex-Mount , traces of adhesive visible at rear. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1980s Australian Special Air Service , Bronze Metallic HALO Dress Parachute Wings qualification badge. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Surface Toning evident- retention lugs have been removed ( ex-Mount). 

This piece would have been worn by Australian S.A.S personnel who had successfully passed the HALO ( High Altitude, Low Opening) course qualification requirement.
