The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- SAAF Flightsuit is present and detailed with all necessary fittings.Insignia has been removed & will display evidence of handling/ augmentation. Material is in a Good State and suit has been utilised. Signs of Wear evident due to handling. All pockets are present with Zipper adjustment fittings appearing intact and functional. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of Border War, 1980s SA Air Force Helicopter Pilot's Olive Green Flightsuit w/ Zippered fittings. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed fittings on  obverse and reverse. Insignia is NO LONGER present - having been removed at some point in time. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Material appears in good order. Flightsuit reinforced lining is intact - and all Zipper adjustments are complete, appearing functional. Velcro tabs located at the cuff & waistband segments are intact. 

The Flightsuit, appears to be expandable at the shoulders or upper portion - allowing for ease of wear. This piece has been subject to utilisation by the former owner - and would have been worn by all qualified SA Air Force Helicopter Pilot's within the Republic and Area of Operations. 

The ideal addition to any SADF/SAAF  Border War Era uniform / flightsuit collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
