This piece appears to be in a VF/F state of preservation , with detailed Chromed Badge Graphic Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Toning may be noted throughout. This item appears complete in construction & material is in good order. The retention chin-strap is intact & original owner's details have been inscribed within item. Manufacturer's label is visible and lining is complete. 

This piece would have been utilised by a member of the Ciskei Homeland Police Force, as part of their daily Service Dress Uniform attire.
