The piece is in a GOOD, USED CONDITION- Bronze Unit Medallion appears in good order. Medallion Graphic Design Relief is present and detailed for both obverse & reverse. Insignia and Design Features remain in a Good State and piece has been subject to a degree of handling.  Minimal Signs of Wear evident - however , surface toning/ verdigris may be noted. Original cardboard issue case is present & complete. All necessary Unit / Regimental markings are present. Medallion remains Un-Numbered. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1989 SADF 32 Battalion Unit Affiliation Bronze Medallion w/ Original Issue Case. This piece appears to be in a VF + state of preservation, with detailed Graphic Design Relief on  obverse & reverse. All insignia present. Minimal Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Medal Surface may  display areas of wear / toning or verdigris residues. All Regimental Design Features & nomenclature remain clear & defined. NOTE : A minor bruise is present on Medallion Disk rim edge. Unit Medallion appears in good order, retaining a uniform lustre. This variant remains Un-Numbered. 

This piece would have been issued to members of 32 Battalion , who were performing duties in the Operational Area of SWA/ Angola during 1989 - in order to commemorate the closure of the Operational Base located at Buffalo in Caprivi.
