Badge remains unused - but is ex-Mount. All embroidery appears complete with good pigmentation. Material remains in good order. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1980s Australian Special Air Service, Summer Dress Parachute Qualification Wing. This piece appears to be in a VF+  state , with detailed Graphic Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Appropriate Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Embroidery appears complete, with good colouring. Material remains intact and in good condition. Insignia is in an  unused state. 

This piece would have been worn by members of the Australian Special Air Service, who had completed the Parachute Qualification course - with the Summer Dress Uniform attire. 

The S.A.S was formed during World War II- by  Major David Stirling, in order to create a Unit tasked with carrying out covert & clandestine combat operations. This Unit - has served as the predecessor of all Modern Elite & Special Forces formations around the world.
