The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Unit Graphic Design Relief is present and detailed.Insignia remains in a Good State and has been utilised.Appropriate Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Structural integrity of the Badge is good. All fittings are evident, including pin & stopper. Pigmented Enamel inlay is complete and lustrous. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of a Post-Cold War, 1990s British Special Air Service, Metallic Unit Lapel Badge w/ Enamel Inlay. This piece appears to be in a VF  state , with detailed Regimental Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Appropriate Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Enamel inlay remains complete - and has been correctly 'fired' to achieve polished appearance. Retention pin is intact with stopper. 

This piece would have been utilised by a former member of the British Special Air Service- to denote service with the Regiment. The Badge appears in good condition, featuring the 'Winged'  Excalibur and Unit Motto:  Who Dares, Wins. 

The S.A.S  was formed during World War II- by Major David Stirling, in order to create a Unit that could carry out covert & clandestine combat operations. The Regiment has served as the predecessor of all Modern Elite & Special Forces formations around the world.
