Appropriate Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Material appears in good order w/ rear backing panel. Merrowed edge will display a small degree of wear. Piece is ex-Mount , having been previously stitched onto a tracksuit. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE, 1990s SANDF Embroidered Parachute 'Water Jump' Unofficial Qualification Breast Badge. This piece appears to be in a VF state of preservation , with detailed embroidered Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Material appears in good order w/ rear reinforcement panel. A small degree of wear will be noted on the borders of the merrowed edge. 

This piece would have been Commissioned &  made available for private purchase- upon Unit requirements by 1 Parachute Battalion & 44 Parachute Brigade. The Qualification Badge is of the Unofficial Variant  - and would not have been sanctioned for official wear by the SANDF Headquarters.
