Of note: McDonald (referred to as Dominee) is indicated as the sole author on the cover face and spine. Within, his name (now Meneer) is joined by that of the General. Kritzinger, a Free State military leader during the Boer War, achieved some further note after the Peace when he was court marshalled for murder. He was acquitted. This book is principally the story of this trial. The cover is benign with some light wear and scuffing. The spine is sunned and marked. Within, the contents are in excellent condition. Indeed they seem as new. The pages are very clean, clear, creamy, certain and confident.
