This very rare, early, pretty 'Worcester' dessert plate is from the sort after first period (the mid to late 1700's.) The plate features a bunch of hand painted flowers in the centre, which are framed by an elaborate gold filigree border, with a cobalt blue scalloped frame and a simple gold trimmed edge. Other than a small slither or chip on the outer edge and some very minor wear, it is in excellent condition. It has the blue underglaze crescent moon mark on the back and measures 21.5cm in diameter.
