Offered on this auction is this C. Baker Simple Field Microscope. It comes in its original wooden box.
 
The Microscope is marked “C. Baker, London”, and has a black finish.
 
It comes complete with 2 magnifier lenses; 15x and 9x, and a dual sided mirror. It also has two stabilizing arms.  
 
The microscope stands 18 cm high when the arm is extended and 12.5 cm when it is not.
The circular base has a diameter measurement of 13 cm.
 
MECHANICALLY it is in Excellent Condition. The adjustment focus screw moves freely. The 2 magnifier lenses are seem to be clear and without scratches.
The dual sided mirror is in Very Good Condition. COSMETICALLY it is also in Excellent Condition. The matt black painted finish is in Very Good Condition. There is a scratch to the paint on the arm (See Photos).  
All chrome parts are a bit dirty but are not corroded.
The box is in Very Good Condition with the Antique type clasp still intact and in good working order.
