The pieces are in an GOOD, USED CONDITION- Leather Holster & Cross Strap is present and detailed.Item remains in a Good State and has been utilised. Appropriate Signs of Wear evident due to handling. Leather appears complete and supple. All Brass Buckles & Fasteners are present. A small degree of age-related surface wear will be visible. Leather appears to have been treated. Any markings are obscured and indiscernable. 

ITEM IS OVER 120 YEARS OLD - HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO HANDLING/ EXPOSURE TO COMBAT CONDITIONS.

An EXCELLENT example of Boer War, 1900  British Officer's Leather. 455 Webley Long Holster w/ Cross-Strap. This assemblage of pieces appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Brass Adjustable buckles and fittings. All necessary parts  appear present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Leather will display a small degree of age-related surface wear- however, all remains supple and pliable. All rivets and stitching appears in good order , small degree of edge wear.  

This piece would have been utilised by Commissioned Officer's of the British Army & Assorted Colonial Formations during the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902). The Assemblage is Victorian in origin - owing to the distinctive Brass furniture present and degree of natural surface discoloration. 

The ideal addition to any Boer War Era leather pistol equipment collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
