Rare Boer War - Queen Victoria Chocolate Tin with Chocolates

This scarce, Boer War chocolate tin still contains the original contents of chocolate, with partial foil wrapping. The red, blue, and gold tin features 'Queen Victoria' in relief on the lid with her words below 'I wish you a happy New Year, Victoria Reg'. The chocolates were a gift from Queen Victoria given to the soldiers in 1900 during the Boer War. These tins don't come up very often and are very rarely seen with their original contents. The tin is in great condition considering it's over 120 years old and measures 15,8cm x 8,5cm x 2,5cm.
