Rare Boer War field hospital hand-painted lead figure set comprised of :

1 x wounded British soldier on metal frame bed.  70 mm

1 x wounded British soldier on stretcher bed.  85 mm

2 x wounded British Redcoats (it was a common misconception that the British wore red coats in the 2nd Boer War when, in fact, they wore khaki). 52-54 mm

2 x field stretchers. 75 mm

1 x Indian doctor (this is historically accurate as many field hospital personnel, including doctors were from India).  59 mm

6 x nurses.  52-55 mm

1 x figure holding a yellow hat (possibly Florence Nightingale).  53 mm

In excellent vintage condition.  A fantastic and rare addition to any Boer War or military collection.
