Rare 'Boer War P.O.W. Kruger' Silver Coin Pendant

 

This rare 'Prisoner-of-War silver pendant has been handmade and intricately carved and filed out of a '1897 ZAR 2-Shilling coin'. This amazing pendant would have taken months of intense cutting and filing to create the finished product and should be looked at closely to really appreciate the amount of work that went into it. All the wording, dates and emblems have been filed around and even the shaft on the ox-wagon has been filed under. The pendant measures 3,0cm x 3,9cm (4,5cm with jump ring), and is in amazing condition for its age.
