Exceptionally rare Boer War Permit to travel signed by Permit officer Paarl, Permit Officer cachets and rare Lady Grey Bridge Putzel no 3 cancel on rear - dated 5 April 1902. Putzel rates Lady Grey Bridge as 40 / 200 - very unusual broken line cancel. Putzel describes as '22 single circle with numerous breaks - no time code letter. Month before date in manuscript.'  This could be a new find as date is not in manuscript but a part of cancel.

Condition is fragile as may be expected for an artifact of this age - tear at top does not detract from its value and rarity.
