Rare Cast Iron and Brass Salesman's Sample Fireplace
RARE FIND
Dating from the 19th century, this cast iron fireplace was a salesman's sample. This is a very rare example with its brass fire front bars, Tidy Betty (loose) all original, and some fire tools (shovel, brush, tongs) that I think was added later
The Unique antique iron fireplace is cast with oak leaves and acorns to the side panels, crest of coat of arms, with the backplate in an anchor design, it stands on a plain hearth and four paw feet.
